The Telegato SIP based IVR is more than an IVR and provides a flexible complete communications solution. As a built in component of our PBX and auto-attendant it offers the ability to solve complex call handling problems.

The features a script driven engine that can control every individual communication Port independently to provide a multitude of different services based on calling number, called number, menu selections, etc. all on the same system.

Integration to other VoIP systems, such as another vendor's IP-PBX, is no problem if they are SIP (RFC 3261) compliant. If you require loop start connections to a Telephone company, analog or T1 cards can be used. For legacy PBX's such as the Nortel Meridian, Norstar, Mitel, NEC, etc. that use digital extensions, we can provide or recommend a range of VoIP gateways for the job.

While most small and medium businesses only need 2 to 8 IVR ports, the IVR can be configured for up to 100 ports per system. Additionally, multiple IVR systems can coexist for maximum reliability and capacity.

The IVR scripting can do the following:

  • Complete VoIP/SIP compatibility
  • Script driven for maximum flexibility
  • Answer inbound calls and collect Caller ID
  • Place outbound calls to any destination
  • Play and record audio files
  • Collect DTMF digits as RFC2833 or SIP INFO messages
  • Perform blind and supervised call transfers
  • Make client connections to any TCP Server and send and receive messages
  • Connect to any ODBC compliant database to query, insert, update, and delete records
  • Read and write XML files
  • Read and write CSV files
  • Send emails with canned or caller collected information
  • Generate user logs
  • Track caller number, user navigation and user input
  • Generate event messages
  • Generate trace messages
  • Generate concatenated audio or true text to speech phrases
  • Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) (version 4.2 and higher)
  • User text-to-speech to convert words or phrases to speech (includes SSML)
  • Web based configuration
  • Port and usage statistics reports
  • Access built in modules such as ACD, VoiceMail and callouts
  • Compatible with Audiocodes and Intel SIP gateways for use with legacy PSTN
Our IVR contains a complete call notification module for reminder services such as medical and dental appointments, past due billing notice, meeting reminders, and more.

An included survey module gives users the ability to define any number of surveys. Each survey can have up to 20 questions. The survey, its questions, and all survey responses are stored in a database on the IVR and available via web pages.
Additionally, a full range of statistics and tracking of users while in the system is provided.
Remote management and monitoring of the IVR is provided via secure Windows applications over an encrypted TCP connection to an IVR and allows a user to:
  • View the current status of all ports
  • Reload scripts on one or more ports
  • Change the trace levels of one or more ports
  • View IVR events in near real time with optional display filtering
  • View IVR tracing in near real time
  • Change the IVR's date/time, IP address, subnet mask, and host name
  • Start and stop process management
  • Manage audio files including (1) play a file, (2) record a file, (3) remove a file, (4) change the volume of a file, (5) trim leading or trailing silence, apply compression to level out the volume
Our powerful scripting language allows the user to perform call control, program navigation, media, XML, TCP, ODBC, and CSV based functions. True text to speech and well as Speech Recognition are built. Additionally, access to all SIP header information is available to our scripting allowing users to extend functionality based on other company's SIP extensions.

Our script writers guide is almost 200 pages of useful information and examples. Script writing classes are also available for anyone desiring the ability to write highly powerful solutions.
